family, Physical Check-up, Counselling.
(b) Review of advice
Review of advice (i.e. Yogasana, Relaxation, Naturopathic diet)
which we have advised during the discharge. Acupuncture-Yoga-Naturopathy-Diet
Therapy are continued as & when necessary. Stress on Pro-Nature
art of living are given to combat the problem of possible relapse.
(c) Rehabilitation Programme:
Rehabilitation is a process of incorporating an individual in the
situation where he was previously before. The process starts from
by utilizing potentiality of individual and community resources.
Most important is patient's involvement in the process of rehabilitation
and the commitment of counselor & social worker. Untill &
unless, a complete co-operation is obtained from addict, rehabilitation
process can't be effective. Disablement to individual makes them
helpless in society, the role of social worker in this field need
to motivate and to provide certain amount of assurance so that individual
do not feel himself lonely in the society. A good report among patients,
counselors and social workers is essential, otherwise the process
of rehabilitation can't materialize.
Other important things that have to be taken into consideration
is that individual's involvement, capability and potentiality after
treatment has to be taken into consideration while designing programme
for individual. Rehabilitation process must also take note of existing
limitation of society resources for rehabilitation. After analysing
cause and effect of the situation, emotional addict has to be provided
with necessary support in order to overcome emotional drawbacks.
Addict should be boosted up at interval, which may strengthen the
process of rehabilitation.
